On this Episode of Under the Library:
Boone takes Bello into the kitchen for an ear reattachment surgery. Jo and Cully check on Richard, who is sitting up and seems lucid. He provides an alternative explanation for his abduction, claiming that things got out of hand with some old college buddies. They were supposedly drinking at Arlene’s, a local bar, so Franny calls to check out the story.
Rutherford continues to question Richard, asking questions to catch him in lies or inconsistencies. Eventually Richard leaves the study and is shocked by the messy state of the house and the bloody kitchen. As he turns to leave, Jo follows him and asks questions about Hans Becker.
Boone, realizing that the chicken-mobile conspicuously links them to the crime at the facility, drives it to the Straits and lights it on fire.
Franny takes Jo aside to discuss the tension between them and they agree to move past it. They also agree that the best next step for the party is a trip to Abiquiu.
Richard seems to be in significant pain, so Cully and Rutherford take him to bed. Rutherford asks “who pushed you into the car?”
